Public Diplomacy Through Economic Transformation and Women’s Leadership

For Marlyse Rosine Demgne Epse Ndjenya, it begins with economic dignity and business structuring. As a fifth-generation African leader, she has dedicated her career to fostering entrepreneurship, fiscal structuring, and economic diplomacy across the African continent, transforming local initiatives into drivers of sustainable development.

Marlyse Demgne is a Certified Tax Expert (CEMAC), Managing Director of the Fiscal.com Group, Editor-in-Chief of the pan-African economic journal “Valeurs Ajoutées”, and founder of the “Afrique Innovante” program. Her work is dedicated to building sustainable ecosystems that connect African entrepreneurs with global economic opportunities.

“Afrique Innovante”: A Bridge Between Women’s Leadership and Global Investment

A special place in Marlyse’s work is occupied by “Afrique Innovante”, a pan-African program she founded in partnership with the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI). This initiative is designed to promote women’s entrepreneurship and innovation across five countries: Cameroon, Gabon, Congo, Tunisia, and Algeria.

The program enjoys institutional support from OAPI and has gained international media visibility through the Vox Africa channel. To date, the platform hosts approximately 217 women entrepreneurs. The initiative helps them connect with investors, navigate incubation and acceleration for their projects, and protects their developments through intellectual property mechanisms, serving as a reliable bridge between Africa’s women leaders and global investment resources.

Tangible Results: From Crisis Support to Financial Integration

Marlyse’s activities have delivered concrete, measurable results for Africa’s economic landscape. Over the past few years, several key initiatives have been successfully implemented:

  • Business Support During Crisis: During the coronavirus pandemic, Marlyse helped over 20 businesses in Cameroon secure subsidies totaling approximately $50,000, enabling them to withstand the crisis and continue operations under the most difficult conditions.

  • Financial Integration of Companies: Throughout her career, she has facilitated funding for approximately 75 companies, working in close partnership with banks and financial institutions to foster their growth and resilience.

  • SME Development: As President of an Approved Management Center, Marlyse unites around 300 small and medium-sized enterprises, providing them with comprehensive support in business development and administration.

Promoting African Narratives on the Global Stage

Beyond practical business consulting, Marlyse actively shapes the continent’s information landscape. As Editor-in-Chief of the pan-African business and strategic media “Valeurs Ajoutées”, she promotes narratives centered on African leadership, innovation, and governance, positioning African entrepreneurs firmly within global economic discussions.

Her expertise and contributions to economic development have been recognized internationally. Marlyse regularly speaks at prestigious international forums, including the World Public Summit in India (2026), where she presented a compelling vision for Africa’s sustainable economic transformation.

Philosophy of Leadership: Trust and Structured Impact

For Marlyse Demgne, leadership is the ability to build trust and translate vision into structured impact. She is convinced that a true leader does more than inspire; she builds ecosystems, connects people, and creates opportunities that outlast her own presence.

In the African context, she believes leadership also entails profound responsibility: structuring businesses, empowering entrepreneurs, and making a personal contribution to sustainable economic transformation. Her approach is focused on creating long-term influence by connecting people, ideas, and traditions, thereby contributing to societal development and international dialogue.
