Winners of the National Stage of the V International Contest "Leader of Public Diplomacy" are announced in Russia
The national stage of the V International Contest "Leader of Public Diplomacy" in the Russian Federation has concluded, bringing together prominent representatives of the public sector, education, culture, business and volunteering.
The jury noted the high quality of the applications submitted and the comprehensive approach of participants to the development of international humanitarian ties. Based on the results of the expert evaluation, the competition organizers decided to increase the number of winners of the Russian stage to ten individuals.
The winners of the national stage of the competition in the Russian Federation are:
Delaram Asadollahi — student at Volgograd State Medical University, author of projects in educational and youth diplomacy, founder of the international community Future Leaders, which unites students from more than 15 countries.
Gashim Mamed Jafar oglu Aliyev — Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Regional National-Cultural Autonomy of Azerbaijanis of Moscow. For many years, he has been developing cultural dialogue between peoples, promoting shared historical heritage, and strengthening interethnic harmony.
Tatiana Arshinova — Director of the Federation for the Development of the Hospitality and Tourism Industry "Soul of the People," creator of the large-scale gastronomic festival "Cuisine Without Borders," which has united dozens of Russian regions and become an effective instrument of cultural diplomacy.
Gunel Bakhyshova — Head of international youth projects in the Tyumen Region, author of the educational program "School of Protocol and Etiquette of BRICS+ Countries," organizer of international forums and Model UN sessions, actively developing youth international cooperation.
Sergey Kamenev — Deputy Chairman of the Russian-Chinese Centre for Humanitarian Cooperation, organizer of international economic and cultural forums contributing to the development of business and humanitarian interaction between Russia and Asian countries.
Alexandra Prokhorova — Head of Internal Communications at Russian Post in the Tver Region, author of numerous volunteer and educational projects using postal diplomacy as a tool for international communication and public engagement.
Svetlana Usenko — founder of the "BRICS+ Schools Association" — an international educational network uniting schools in Russia and foreign countries, implementing school exchange programs and children's people's diplomacy projects.
Olga Chizhik — Head of Finch Production and Finch Models. She actively develops international cooperation in the creative industries and implements joint projects with partners from India, China and the UAE, promoting Russian creative potential on the international stage.
Yaroslav Morozov — Head of the Centre for the Promotion of Contemporary Art and Support for People with Disabilities "Sovremenniki," public figure and philanthropist, implementing international art projects aimed at promoting Russian art, supporting young authors, and strengthening cultural ties between countries.
Denis von Meck — President of the N. F. von Meck International Charitable Foundation, initiator of the large-scale international project "Tchaikovsky — Music Without Visas," through which Russian culture has been presented in more than 20 countries worldwide via exhibitions, lectures, concerts and educational programs.
The Contest has once again confirmed that public diplomacy today is one of the most important tools for strengthening international humanitarian cooperation. The winners represent a wide range of activities, yet they are united by a common goal — developing trust, mutual understanding and partnership between peoples through education, culture, public initiatives, volunteering and the preservation of historical memory.
